The invitation letter to the 24th session of the Intergovernmental Council of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) that will take place virtually from 28 to 30 June 2021 can be read here.
This 3-day virtual session will endorse the draft Ninth Phase of the IHP (2022-2029) and the revised Statutes and Rules of Procedure. The Council will further examine:
a. the implementation of the resolutions adopted by the 23rd session of the IHP Council (Paris, June 2018);
b. IHP’s work on the implementation and monitoring of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) relating to water and sanitation;
c. the way forward for the IHP Flagships and Initiatives;
d. Mid-term evaluation of IHP-VIII.
Dr. Mikoš (Head of Slovenian national delegation) and Dr. Brilly (IHP Council Member, Chair of the Open-Ended Working Group for Strategic Plan of IHP-IX) will attend the meeting as members of the Slovenian delegation.
